Our Mission and Goals
Vintage Corgis was developed by myself, Evangeline Stuck D.V.M. and my daughter Jenna Dirkschneider with the goal of producing quality, healthy and intelligent Pembroke Welsh Corgis and American Corgis to fill the needs of families and individuals looking for life companions. As the goal to produce better dogs led us forward, the choice to compete with our dogs became a natural one. As Jenna grew up participating in 4-H, the obvious first choice was obedience. After earning several AKC titles on multiple dogs, the natural progression led to participation in many sports from many venues. To date, there are Vintage Corgis with titles in Conformation, Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility, Drag Racing, and Tricks. Thus, Vintage Corgis have proven their structural excellence, intelligence, versatility, and athletic ability. But by far, the greatest success achieved to date is the many happy customers who have purchased puppies from us who continue to tell us what wonderful dogs they have and what an integral part those dogs play in their lives. Many clients return to add second and third Vintage Corgis to their families. As time goes on, we will continue to promote our dogs in competition and to study our breeds. We will continually update our health screening, breeding, and management practices so that the puppies that come from Vintage Corgis will be our future champions and those of others and the healthy, happy companions of our customers.
